Volleyball:    The boys ended their season with a 5 - 4 record.  They took 3rd place in the season ending Carachipampa Invitational won by AISB.  St. Andrews took second and Calvert was 4th.  Coach, Doug Hansen was pleased with the progress made by this relatively young team.  Jake Hansen dominated with thundering kills during season.  Younger athletes were developing into good setters as the season ended.
The girls also completed a successful season culminating in a first place finish in the season ending invitational.  St. Andrews took second, AISB third and Calvert fourth.  Sarah Miller provided strong leadership.  With the return of Jenny Grainer, CCS has developed into one of the stronger school teams in Cochabamba.  Coach Hansen described this year's squad as one with a lot of spirit & hustle.

Tennis:        Senior, Alvaro Mercado, competing for the Cochabamba Country Club, placed well in many regional and national tournaments.  An overall talented young athlete, Alvaro impresses all not only with his athletic ability, but also his sportsmanship.  The Sarabia sisters have also competed at a high level in their younger age groups.

Cross country & Track & Field:    Sophomore, Jorge Trigo, dominated the 5K cross country race again this year.  His record setting time of 17:42 over rough cobblestone streets, railroad tracks & through riverbeds does little to indicate his dominance.  His closest challenger, Alvaro Mercado finished 4 minutes behind.  Kristen Porter was the first girl finishing with a time of 24:02.  Jorge Trigo has also represented CCS in the Bolivian Nationals receiving 3 bronze medals.

Soccer:    Senior Sarah Miller and sophomore Jenny Grainer combined to lead a successful squad of girls this year.  Competing against AISB and Calvert, the squad has a 3 - 1 record with a couple more games to go.  Sarah and Jenny also compete for the best club squad in Cochabamba.  Their competition has included squads from Santa Cruz, LaPaz and other cities from Bolivia.

Swimming:    Sophomore swimmer, Kristen Porter, recently won 13 gold and 4 silver medals at the Nationals held in Santa Cruz.  Named the meets most outstanding swimmer, Kristen swam to several more national records to go with the ones she already holds.
