Paro Work for Monday (20 May 2013)BIBLE Much of our work needs to be done in the classroom, so there is little home work right now. However, ALL presentations are to be emailed to rod_vis@hotmail.com TODAY by 3pm. We will have presentations on Thurs/Fri of this week. Spend some time reviewing the Big Ideas/major overview sheet for all the books of the Old Testament, in preparation for the Final Exam review, next week. ENGLISH. Review Simple Tenses (Lesson 3, pg 147-148) and Perfect Tenses (Lesson 5, pg 151-153). Try the guided practices and make sure you remember how these work. You can do this in your cuaderno as I will NOT be collecting it. Turn to Page 170 and study the notes on Subject-Verb Agreement. Do ALL the questions (#1-18) for the Guided and Independent Practice. You do NOT need to write the sentence, only write the correct form of the verb. Make sure that you number each answer correctly. Type up your answers, put your name and the date on the page and email it to fullersix@hotmail.com. Meanwhile, you should be working on the second part of your project, which will be to present your band in a "business presentation" during class on May 22nd-24th, to try to convince Mrs. Vasquez to become your band's agent. You can be emailing or talking to each other about your band name, CD cover/fake song titles on the back, fake "biographies" on each member, band vision statement (what kind of art you make and with what purpose), and any other fun information you want to include about your band. You can either bring a "folder/portfolio" with printed items, or you may choose to do a Powerpoint type presentation of your band.
